The 2008 recipient of the Lifetime of Service Award is Dr. Ralph Winter, founder of the U.S. Center for World Mission (USCWM), in Pasadena, California. Dr. Winter has been a mission educator, entrepreneur and paradigm pioneer for more than three decades. In addition to the USCWM, Dr. Winter played a central role in the founding of William Carey Library Publishers and the course, Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. In presenting this award we publicly celebrate the faithfulness of God as evidenced in a lifetime of service to the cause of global mission.
